Nice place to get away owners run a fish and hunting store along with canoe and paddle board rental includes private dock lots of amenities in friendly town,there is also horse racing and casino vasculitis,the proprietors are kind and always there for the customer or client.

We reserved a canoe with The Crappie Store on a whim.They are located on one of the more beautiful parts of the Sydenham River (Lake Saint Clair), as well as providing canoe and kayak rentals.We arrived at 9am for our reservation and were met by the owner as we pulled into the driveway. This is where the fun began! She was so kind and hospitable, explaining their policies and asking about our canoeing experience. All the while educating us about the nature of the Sydenham.She walked us down to launch and bid us a safe journey. This part of the river is filled with wildlife! We saw deer coming down to the banks for a morning drink. Hawks flying overhead keeping an eye on us while the herons lept into the air when our canoe got too close.The river is like glass. Although muddy, you are guaranteed to see many turtles, frogs, and jumping fish! We stopped several times to rest our paddles, soak up the sun, and just listen!I recommend The Crappie Store for their hospitality and knowledge, for their location, and for the fact that they are truly connected to the river that they want everyone to experience

Don't let the name fool you, they are the best! From fishing to bee keeping they've got what you need. Super nice people and great prices on their equipment and honey.

Everything is on clearance right now as there are new owners taking over - go check it out and you may find some hidden treasures like I did! Also, the bottle return is convenient as you can pull right up to the Beer Shed" to unload."

Everything you need under one roof. Easy to find and lots of parking.

The owners of this store are great people very very nice and polite

Very small selection at the time we went I but it is also connected with another shop and we were told more inventory would be in soon because they were newly opened.

Canoe rentals, outdoor equipment, knowledgable and friendly owners. Love this place!
